Participants in the ARC workshop learned new ways to communicate and defuse tensions in intimate relationships.
April 28, 2009: BPSOS-Charlotte has been lucky enough to benefit from the wisdom of Pastor Trung Nguyen, who last month presented refugee couples with an excellent set of conflict-resolution skills.
Nearly 20 people took part in the conflict-resolution workshop, which took place under the auspices of the Assistance for Refugee Couples (ARC) program.
The March 7 event at the BPSOS-Charlotte office included lunch and insights into how to avoid deadlocked communication and other relationship traps.
