July 20, 2009: The Maryland office is excited to introduce and welcome Mai Huynh Dinh! Dinh is a member of the Vietnamese Student Association at the University of Maryland. She will be launching BPSOS’ new youth tutoring and mentoring program which begins with a summer camp.
As our youth program coordinator, she will liaise between youth and parents and actively recruit volunteer mentors/tutors to partner with our youth. She brings many past experiences in nonprofit and youth organizations, including Habitat for Humanity and the Girl Scouts, to help her connect with our youth and succeed. Please join us in welcoming her!
The BPSOS in Maryland has a roster of programs that are varied and tailored to meet your needs. Registration is on going. There is still time for any interested families who wish to sign of the summer program, that began today and runs through August or the fall program that begins in September.
