If you’re healthy enough to make a human pyramid, sort of, you belong in the Holmes Middle School Vietnamese Club! Here, members and friends show off their healthy moves, including mysterious hand exercises.

November 24, 2008: Eating right and exercising are discouraged by America’s fast-food, couch-potato, X-Box’d culture! That’s why the Family Services Department of BPSOS-Falls Church has made it a point to include healthy living strategies in the weekly meetings of the Vietnamese Club at Holmes Middle School in Alexandria.

Below are some more photos of the students and parents who are taking back their health and heritage from video games and saturated fats!

If there’s anything more entertaining than watching parents exercise, it’s watching them wave their arms while getting healthier.

If you’re a Holmes student or parent who would like to shake off the winter blahs and learn some healthy habits, call Dong Bui or Vickie Love for more information about Vietnamese Club activities. You can reach them at 703.538.2190, or email them at vickie.love@bpsos.org or dong.bui@bpsos.org.
