Kevin Badeaux is a case manager for the Port Arthur, Texas office, assigned to work with English and Spanish speaking clients. He is a native of Port Arthur, the eldest of seven children and has eleven nieces and nephews. After graduation from Bishop Byrne High School, Kevin attended Rice University in Houston and earned a B.A. in Political Science, Psychology and Legal Studies. After attending seminary, Kevin spent 25 years in the ministry. This gave him extensive experience in working with people of various cultures as well as involvement in community organizing. Kevin loves to travel and has been fortunate to be able to pursue further studies in Rome, Paris and Cuernavaca (Mexico). Kevin enjoys studying languages and in his time with BPSOS hopes to improve his (very) rudimentary knowledge of Vietnamese.
Kevin has a great empathy for people recovering from crisis situations, especially those facing linguistic or cultural barriers. He has enjoyed his work as part of the BPSOS team so far and looks forward to a great experience.
