October 1, 2008: Do you live more on Facebook than in reality? Do you eat, drink, and breathe social networking applications? Do you want to see the Vietnamese-American community use those cutting-edge tools to benefit seniors, hurricane survivors, working families? If so, we’d like to talk to you about turning your talents to creating Facebook pages for fundraising events, voter registration and get out the vote efforts, and so on.
Do you have a couple of hours each month to help out other Vietnamese Americans in this way? If so, please send a note with your thoughts about this volunteer post, and how you might use your skills, to Kim Cuc at info@bpsos.org. Thanks!
PS: Bilingual would be great, but that’s not vital. Just a high level of creativity and knowledge of how to set up attractive Facebook pages would be a good start! Also, in this rough-and-ready virtual world of ours, your location in relation to BPSOS offices is not as important as your willingness to help… so we welcome interested people from all over the country!
