I am a Hurricane Ike Crisis Counselor of Brazoria and Galveston counties. There was a large Vietnamese community in San Leon, TX that was completely devasated. As counselors, we are looking for ways to reach out to and support the Vietnamese community. We do not have Vietnamese-speaking community.
I am inquiring to see if you know of any liasons, could suggest community resources, or share cultural information that may be relevant to our outreach. Thank you for your information.
